The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
