Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 and his wife, the carrier of the firewood, 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
