The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This Book whereof there is no doubt, is a guidance unto the God-fearing. 2 Who believe in the Unknown and fulfil their devotional obligations, and spend in charity of what We have given them; 3 And who believe in that which has been bestowed from on high upon thee, [O Prophet,] as well as in that which was bestowed before thy time: for it is they who in their innermost are certain of the life to come! 4 They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful. 5 As for those who have rejected (these things), it is all the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they are not going to believe. 6 Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur). 7
