۞ But who does greater evil than he who lies against God and cries lies to the very truth, when it comes to him? Is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 32 And he who brings the truth and (he who) accepts it as the truth-- these are they that guard (against evil). 33 They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good - 34 That God may absolve them of their sins and reward them for the best that they had done. 35 Is not Allah Sufficient for His slave? And they threaten you with others beside Him! And whomever Allah sends astray – there is no guide for him. 36 But he whom Allah guides, none can lead astray. Is not Allah the Almighty, capable of retribution? 37 If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah". Say: "See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust." 38 Say: "O my [truth-denying] people! Do yet all that may be within your power, [whereas] I, behold, shall labour [in God's way]: in time you will come to know 39 "Who it is to whom comes a Penalty of ignominy, and on whom descends a Penalty that abides." 40 [O Prophet!] We have sent down to you the Book for mankind with the truth. Then whoever adopts the right way, will do so for his own soul, and whoever goes astray, injures his own soul. You are not their custodian. 41
