The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This is the exalted Book (the Qur’an), in which there is no place for doubt; a guidance for the pious. 2 Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them. 3 those who believe in the revelation sent down to you and in what was sent before you, and firmly believe in the life to come -- 4 It is the pious who follow the guidance of their Lord and gain lasting happiness. 5 Verily those who have disbelieved, it is equal to them whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they will not believe. 6 Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom. 7
