Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
