But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
