Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
