The dwellers in El-Hijr cried lies to the Envoys. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an. 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 Them, by thy Lord, We shall question, every one, 92 As to what they did. 93 Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
