The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no Allah save Me, so keep your duty unto Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with Truth. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Allah in His Divinity. 3 He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. 4 And the cattle -- He created them for you; in them is warmth, and uses various, and of them you eat, 5 How beautiful you find them when you bring them home and when you drive them out to graze. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 God's it is to show the way; and some do swerve from it. If He willed, He would have guided you all together. 9
