Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
