See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
