The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
