The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In columns outstretched. 9
