And man saith: when I am daed, Shall I be presently brought forth alive. 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
