Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
