۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 If he is among the near 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
