The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? 177 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 178 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 and do not deliver short, and do not go about creating mischief in the land, 183 Fear He who created you, and the generations of the ancient' 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191
