Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they shall not return (to enjoy a new lease of life) 95 Even when Gog and Magog are let loose and they shall break forth from every elevated place. 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it. 98 Had these been gods, they would not have come to it and all shall abide therein. 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 Those for whom the good (record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom. 101 They will not hear the slightest sound thereof, while they abide in that which their souls desire. 102 They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you." 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 And assuredly We have prescribed in the Scripture after the admonition, that: the land! there shall inherit it My bondmen righteous. 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 We have sent you forth as nothing but mercy to people of the whole world. 107 Say: "This is what has been revealed to me: 'Your God is one and only God.' So will you bow in homage to Him?" 108 If they turn back, say: 'I have warned you all alike, though I cannot tell whether what you are promised is imminent or distant. 109 He knows surely what you say aloud, and what you hide within your breasts. 110 And I do not know if this may be a trial for you and a provision till a time. 111 "Judge in truth (between us), O Lord," he said. "Our Lord is merciful, whose help we seek against what you attribute." 112
