O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 and who believe in their Sustainer's messages, 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 In fact, the hearts of the unbelievers are in the dark because of their ignorance of real virtue; they act against it. 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 For when My revelations were read out to you, you turned back on your heels and fled 66 “Priding yourself in serving the Sacred Mosque; at night you utter indecent stories in it, while discarding the truth.” 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside. 71 Or are you asking them for any reward? But the reward of your Lord is the best, for He is the Best of Providers, 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 and surely they that believe not in the world to come are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 And indeed We grasped them with punishment, so neither did they submit themselves to their Lord, nor do they cry humbly. 76 until We opened upon them the door of a severe chastisement. Then lo, in this state they become utterly despaired of any good. 77
