Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
