The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
