SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
