Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
