Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 and those who spend the night prostrating themselves, and standing before their Lord, 64 Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,- 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
