The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
