۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
