The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
