Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
