And when thy Lord called to Moses, 'Go to the people of the evildoers, 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron. 13 And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me." 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds, 16 Then send with us the children of Israel. 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 Said he, 'Indeed I did it then, being one of those that stray; 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you can believe." 24 (The Pharaoh) said to those around him: "Do you hear?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 Pharaoh said, "If you put forward any god other than me, I will surely put you in prison". 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
