۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
