۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
