Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; 64 And who submit, “Our Lord – avert the punishment of hell from us; indeed its punishment is a permanent neck-shackle.” 65 evil it is as a lodging-place and an abode'; 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 [Such as] these will be rewarded for all their patient endurance [in life] with a high station [in paradise,] and will be met therein with a greeting of welcome and peace, 75 and wherein they will live for ever: what an excellent abode and what an excellent resting place! 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
