The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
