Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 The Trustworthy Spirit brought it down. (Angel Jibreel peace be upon him.) 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayest be of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Was it not a sign for them, that it is known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 Had We revealed it to a non-Arab 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 So if they do not obey you, then say, “Indeed I am unconcerned with what you do.” 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Do you not see how they wander aimlessly in every valley, 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe and do the right, and remember God a great deal, who retaliate only when they have been wronged. Yet the oppressors will now come to know through what reversals they will be overthrown! 227
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
