And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years, 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 So if they do not obey you, then say, “Indeed I am unconcerned with what you do.” 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
