AND, INDEED, [O Muhammad,] We did vouchsafe revelation unto Moses [as well]: so be not in doubt of [thy] having met with the same [truth in the revelation vouchsafed to thee]. And [just as] We caused that [earlier revelation] to be a guidance for the children of Israel, 23 And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. 24 Surely your Lord will judge among them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matters about which the Children of Israel used to differ. 25 Does it not teach them a lesson, how many generations We destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they (now) go to and fro? Verily in that are Signs: Do they not then listen? 26 Do they not see that We drive the water to a land having no herbage, then We bring forth thereby seed-produce of which their cattle and they themselves eat; will they not then see? 27 Yet they say: "When will this decree come, if you speak the truth?" 28 Say: 'On the Day of Victory their faith shall not profit the unbelievers, nor shall they be respited.' 29 Therefore turn away from them and wait as they are waiting. 30
