۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
