Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
