Indeed, We gave Moses the Book; so he not in doubt concerning the encounter with him; and We appointed it for a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 When they were patient, We made from them leaders, guiding with Our Command and they were certain of Our verses. 24 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. 25 Hath this not guided them: how many generations We have destroyed before them amidst whose dwellings they walk? Verily therein are signs; will they not therefore hearken? 26 And do they not see that We do drive rain to parched soil (bare of herbage), and produce therewith crops, providing food for their cattle and themselves? Have they not the vision? 27 They say: "When will this decision be, if ye are telling the truth?" 28 Say: "On the Day of the Final Decision, their [newly-found] faith will be of no use to those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth, nor will they be granted respite!" 29 So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting. 30
