If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran, 69 To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food? 72 And they derive other advantages and drinks from them. Even then they do not offer thanks, 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned). 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 Has not man regarded how that We created him of a sperm-drop? Then lo, he is a manifest adversary. 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 who has made for you out of the green tree fire and lo, from it you kindle.' 80 Is He who created the heavens and earth not able to create others like these people? Of course He is! He is indeed the Supreme Creator, the All Knowing: 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 Holy is He Who has full control over everything, and to Him you shall all be recalled. 83
