Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
