The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 [And they will be told:] "This is the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false - the Day] which you were wont to call a lie!" 21
