۞ (And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship 22 besides God, and show them the way of hell. 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 They will be asked, "Why do you not help each other?" 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 And they will turn to one another and question one another. 27 They said, “It is you who used to come to us from our right, in order to sway.” 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 We had no authority over you, in fact, you were a rebellious people. 30 So on us hath been justified the sentence of our Lord: verily we are to taste. 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride, 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 Now certainly you shall be tasting the painful chastisement, 38 And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did. 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 on couches facing each other. 44 Round shall be passed a cup unto them filled with limpid drink: 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them will be mates of modest gaze, most beautiful of eye, 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 They will turn to one another with questions: 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 who used to say: -- Are you also one of those who confirm the Truth (of life after death)? 52 Shall we be recompensed for our deeds after we die and become bones and dust? 53 Allah will say: will ye look down? 54 Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 for had it not been for my Sustainer's favour, I would surely be [now] among those who are given over [to suffering]! 57 Are we then not to die 58 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a torment for the unjust? 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 And afterward, lo! thereupon they have a drink of boiling water 67 Then their return will be to the same blazing Hell. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 yet before them most of the ancients went astray, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
