And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
