Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
