We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
