And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
