In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Ha Mim 1 A revelation from [God], the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful -- 2 A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know, 3 As a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear. 4 They say: “Our hearts are securely wrapped up against what you call us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between you and us there is a veil. So act; we too are acting.” 5 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'I am only a human like you, to whom it is revealed that your God is One God. Therefore be straight with Him and ask Him to forgive you. Woe to the idolaters, 6 Those who practise not regular Charity, and who even deny the Hereafter. 7 [But,] verily, they who have attained to faith and do good works shall have a reward unending! 8
