And warn them of the Day whereon the enemies of Allah will be gathered unto the Fire; and they will be set in bands. 19 To the extent that when they reach it, their ears and their eyes and their skins will testify against them for what they used to do. 20 They will ask their skins: “Why did you bear witness against us?” The skins will reply: “Allah gave us speech, as He gave speech to all others. He it is Who created you for the first time and it is to Him that you will be sent back. 21 And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do. 22 And that was your (evil) thought which you entertained about your Lord that has tumbled you down into perdition, so are you become of the lost ones. 23 Then if they persist, the Fire shall be a lodging for them; and if they ask amends yet no amends shall be made to them. 24 ۞ We assigned to them companions who made their doings appear fair to them. But the same decree [of punishment] proved true against them, which had proved true against nations of jinn and mankind who passed away before them. Surely they were the losers. 25
